Roop Kumar and Sunali's most recent endeavour is a concert in U.K. to celebrate four legendary Indian singers; Noor Jehan, Talat Mahmood, Mohammed Rafi, and Lata Mangeshkar. The couple is all set to give music lovers in U.K. an unforgettable experience with popular favourites as well as rarely heard classics and Indian ghazals, a genre Roop and Sunali specialize in.

Radio City unveiled a fresh season of ghazals with the launch of a new show. The 'Shahenshah of Ghazals', Roop Kumar Rathod, made his radio debut as the host of a classic new show on Radio City, 91.1 FM, in Mumbai. 'Shaam-E-Ghazal' is an interesting blend of unplugged ghazals, mushairas and 'live on-air' performances by the expert ghazal singer himself.

Roop Kumar and Sunali Rathod were among the Bollywood celebrities who attended the Nathdwara Spiritual Music Festival in Jodhpur; where Madan Paliwal hosted renowned spiritual leader Murari Bapu. Rishi Kapoor, Hema Malini, Sonal Deshpande, and others were also present. The Prince Dance group, Kailasa Band, Sunidhi Chauhan, enthralled the audience with their performances. The mellifluous recitals of Kavita Seth, Baljinder, Sunali and Roopkumar Rathod, were a befitting tribute to the spiritual music festival which saw divine music take its patrons one step closer to the Almighty.

On February 23, 2008, Roop Kumar along with his wife Sonali Rathod participated in 'Mission Ustaad', an Indian musical reality show; and they were crowned as the 'Ustaad Jodi'. This romantic and versatile ghazal singer couple can enthrall you with their soulful voice and add a beautiful magic to every moment of your destination wedding.
